Sounds like another story to me. Possibly, songs of war took place before the droug set up its rule over many dimensions, obviously. Maybe, the droug used a prime song to power their civilization or something? Dunno.

As a response to the question nearing the end, I do have a theory. REGARDING THE BPS TEAM : Letting the Droug take over would be a good way to pave a path to Worlds Apart 4, but seeing as the Droug failed to take over the whole of Alvatros,（Krista, I'm looking at you.）being able to take over the modern world in the course of one animation is highly unlikely, unless they had a backup "ultimate" weapon. But because this would result in too many plot twists, and the reason why this weapon was not used before would require several more twists. Another cliffhanger would be to leave a humanity's last hope team in danger, although again, for reasons above this is also unlikely. At the present time, as the Droug have interdimensional tech, the outcome is very hard to clarify. REGARDING SAM AND KRISTA : Currently they are stranded in another world. A few important things to understand is : The portal needs to be reactivated and it's set destination must be the world of origin. They do not have a portal key or any other functional power source for the portal. I do not think Varrik （or whatever the orange robothingy's name was） will strike an INSTANT alliance. I mean, look at his arm. This is a good oppurtunity for revenge. He has nothing left to lose. But on the other hand, he has a lot to gain back. Two possible solutions to Sam and Krista's current case are : That they obtain a new portal key to get back into the fight . They find some way of interdimensional contact that would benefit everyone back at Bps. Either way, this would make it so Worlds Apart 3 would be near the end of the series, unless certain objects or people are put in as foreshadowing for future events. My theories are these : 1.The next installment may be uncovering the Droug's motives, as a well placed motive may branch out toward a more complex story （this can be good sometimes.） Justifying their actions is a possibility. If their motives were unjust, they'll probably all die Avengers Chitauri style. The second theory is that there's a deeper backstory regarding Krista. This backstory does not necessarily have to include the Droug, but that is quite expected. If this line is followed, another theory follows that Krista could've been with the Droug in some way? How did Krista survive? As she recalls an earlier flashback from her childhood, Alvatros was at peak glory when she was young, est nine years old. This indicates she probably survived for at least a year. Unfortunately, another possible outcome is the death of either Sam or Krista. WELL, either way I've already chattered about this for to long. Thank you to anyone who approves of this cpmment I guess...

@@SquaredMediaAnimations you can do clone wars style . You know total hard war big stalemate on the fronts and a some great attacks some succesful or not (on both sides). Treaty would be also nice addition to the animation (like Treaty of Verden that splitted Frank Empire) and a bit ww2 style after for next parts.

"Varrik...But on the other hand" Nice one. All interesting theories. I'm leaning more towards Sam and Krista finding a new portal key or some other way to re-activate the portal. Adding more aliens does seem like it would complicate the plot a lot. And you make a good point about Krista's backstory. Given how skilled she is with swordfighting, she might even have been a high-ranking Droug in the past. Unless for some reason she knew how to duel with swords before the invasion, she likely wouldn't have survived long by herself at the peak of Droug colonization.
@@anyarr Adding new aliens would overload the plot, good point. And regarding Krista, my gyess on this is that either her parents had trained her or that she had betrayed the Droug after working with them. But due to the citizens of Alvatros being at war with the Droug they wouldn't have accepted her so easily - she would need to prove herself. If this is the case, how did she prove herself?

Reverie will be remembered, in both it's original form and through the unofficial "Reverie" that is Sayama Hunter School. Nitrox was brilliant animating both 😃. （Sadly, Nitrox has left BPS recently so we won't be getting a second Reverie unless one of the current members decide to take up his project, which unfortunately will probably not happen.）

Amazing animation, Sam! Cannot WAIT for Part 3! I've watched it at least 5 times, and I can't help but think of a cool idea for the trilogy's inevitably epic conclusion. Since this is one of the first animations to truly recognize the presence of Stage 1 animators in BPS canon animations (aka Knight & Omeleto), and based on Arby previously stating that BPS animations are all increasingly tying into one connective canon, the epic conclusion would be a fantastic way to tribute the entirety of the BPS team. If all the assistant animators for every animator, and all the SoW animators, and builders, and content creators and modelers and riggers and, of course, the animators themselves, ended up coming together for the grand conclusion, that would absolutely be an animation to remember, and, personally, a fantastic way to tribute each person who has helped bring BPS to the 3.3 Million subscribers it is at today! Overall, however, such an ending actually occurring or not, I wait with baited breath to watch the thrilling conclusion!

The Black Plasma Studios Cinematic Universe is forming. Literally somehow, Worlds Apart 2 reminds me of Infinity War.
It would be rlly cool if he went to some for volcano and got some for lavasword or just a cooler weapon in general
If you guys run out of ideas I think you should do another blocking dead animation, but that's up to you not me. I really liked watching the blocking dead it's one of my favorite animations that black plasma made

Worlds apart 3 predictions: Exiled varrok, sam and kris reluctantly help each other to make a device that can open the portal using parts scavenged in jakku style scenes from droug ruins. Back in Bps city, the other animators and derp use the helicopter at the bps house to fly into the heart of the city through swarms of droug ships, dodging their shots until being shot in the back propeller and spinning down to the city streets to begin an epic battle scene to try and re-take city hall. Skyfall, as the dark hero, takes his jet towards the fortress, and attempts to board the thing. He manages to get onto some maintanance platforms next to one of the engines, where he fights of some drougs and works his way inside. Derp and the animators try to free all the cityfolk who are being held in city hall/museum, but are too late, as most of them have already been teleported up to the fortress to be enslaved. In a mix of scenes, between sam finding droug ruins and skyfall looking through the archive room aboard the fortress, the secrets and history of the droug are explained... No idea what their tragic backstory might be, but it may dictate how the invasion is stopped, and bring about a happy ending. Who knows...

absolute fantastic job. I'm also a bit happy that you decided not to go with the design with the little arms for the droug leader as floating elements kinda brings in more ties to being otherworldly. With the sentinels you could say the saying, "Less is more" really implies there. Would be great if you could have there be a way that the enslaved citizens to get free from the droug's control.

One theory I have is that the desert world might have some hidden stash of Droug weapons or even a stash containing an experimental device or weapon that could fight off the Droug in an almost inhuman manner of fighting. A beast, per se.
