I love the little references to the Halo days in this series... the re-using of voice actors, the part where Jalkar mentions the “Unyielding Legion”...
I actually had a lot of fun making those Hogtown people. Instead of cleaning the skins up, I was allowed to make them a bit of a mess xD

3:17 "the pig industry" Technoblade confirmed? Also its interesting to me that the enderman are just now trying to get the egg, they were fine with it in the castle? Perhaps its close to hatching time, and they are concerned about its safety, whereas earlier it was fine wherever cuz the egg is durable.

You know what’ll add some uniqueness to the Endermen that had their arm chopped off..if they added a wooden prosthetic arm to him then slowly over time it’ll be a iron arm just to add some Minecraft game logic to it, from wood to stone then iron and lastly Dimond...it’s just food for thought on my end! 😊💡

I call lazy writing. I thought jalkar was a strict and impatient friend who did care for grim deep down, but apparently he would just leave his friend behind. Also, Abigail could never come close to beating grim or jalkar in a fight (as they are trained fighters who can kill multiple soldiers at once) , and the dragon egg does not belong to her, so i dont see why everyone sees her as the protagonist.

352 650 well i wanna see grimm change sides cause jalkar USED him and we all know jalkar is a jerk. and betrayal broke grimm, so abigale helping grimm(in a friend support way) in exchange to find the egg is quite the deal

Overall visual effects are great, but 7:36 this effect could have been better, it just looks like a smoke simulation previz .. Maybe a bunch of 2D planes could be great for this ^^

I decided to watch Behind the Scenes since my theories no longer get any attention cause there are too many comments and I realized the Behind the Scenes actually give you information not shown before

I keep wondering how Grim didnt get electrised when he fell in the water The whole scythe way underwater yet it didnt do anything
It wasn't in it's SUPER elektrified state yet
His scythe was in idle state when he jumped into the water, thats why
Thr Scythe was not in it's true form, it was set off to prevent technical issues such as electrifying jalkar or people who goes near him.

@@SquaredMediaAnimations Abigail could never come close to beating grim or jalkar in a fight, even if grim was injured as he could still block powerful attacks from abigail which would require advanced combat training, which are moves a farm girl raised by a cautious old man would not be able to perform. We have also seen that grim can take out multiple trained enemies at once (the palace guards and voltaris) effortlessly so why could he not take out a single girl, he was in good enough condition to jump around and attack abi, so he wasn't that injured. You could've animated it as if grim won the fight but he couldn't bring himself to kill abigail so he ran away. I feel as though the dragon egg does not belong to abigail since she did nothing to earn it, she just found it in the woods, so i dont see why everyone sees her as the protagonist, if anything, she's annoying and just as bad as grim and jalkar since she wants the egg for herself. She is willing to murder people in order to get the egg. I wanted to see jalkar's character, over time, show more inner feelings towards grim rather than just out of nowhere say 'sorry mate imma go', I really wasn't expecting him to just leave grim behind. Aside from the dragon egg story, the rest of songs of war is very captivating and well written though so congratulations.

@@MrMillions69 In the video He said That Abigail didnt really beat Grim. Grim made a mistake that injured him more which weakened him and his scythe was knocked away.
@@tweetingfirestar1167 a fighter who can kill multiple trained guards wouldn't make a mistake even if he was a bit injured. He clearly wasn't limping or stumbling, so he wasn't even that hurt. He was able to fight and he should've killed abigail.
When Lucan doesn’t have his necromask on he kinda looks like Jalkar with his hood on! Look at Jalkar with his hood in ep 2 and compare it in ep 6 when Lucan is in the necrobase!

Thanks for telling us why abagail and the other characters win because sometimes it just feels like it’s for the plot but I can depend to get a good explanation here

absolutely love the callbacks to the rise of the spartans series, I nearly forgot that this channel (well not this exact channel) was the one to make it cuz of all the newer Minecraft animations (not that im complaining, they are fantastic, tho I do miss ocelot and raptor's bromance)

"I think it's important for the protagonists to lose. There needs to be higher stakes. There needs to be that desire to see them succeed after so much defeat. Only then can you really get those dramatic moments which would have been dull otherwise." THANK YOU FOR GETTING THIS. I find that it is so rare for showrunners to acknowledge this so you feel less of a connection to the characters and less of a fuel to see them overcome challenge. The challenge needs to feel real and hurt the characters; you need to actually feel like they're in danger, because from there you can get excited to see how a character gets past that - if they even can. What a beautiful comment and I never thought I would be so attached to a Minecraft series. Kudos, utmost respect.

Yeah I don't think there's a whole big map sadly, it's mostly just individual very small maps for each location in the animation.
@@dramadragon3998 Actually it's not multiple maps it is one big map with individual locations connected by paths. However, there is just a lot of wilderness so it takes time to get to a town.
